Carson Keeble

Carson Keeble is excited to join the Oregon Symphony as Acting Principal Trombone for the 2023-24 Season. He has lived with his partner in the Eugene/Springfield area for the past 11 years and during that time has performed regularly with the Oregon Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, and Santa Fe Opera. Additionally, he holds tenured positions in the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Eugene Symphony. As a soloist and chamber musician, Carson is a regular guest with Albuquerque’s Ensemble Music New Mexico and makes frequent appearances with chamber groups in Portland, Seattle, and Eugene.

Over the course of his career, Carson has held positions with the Santa Fe Opera, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. He has performed as a guest with the Cincinnati Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, Malaysia Philharmonic, Hawaii Symphony, and various other orchestras throughout the United States.

A dedicated educator, Carson is the trombone instructor at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), is on faculty at the Wallowa Lake Brass Camp, and maintains a private lesson studio.
