For Educators

Thousands of students each year benefit from immersive musical experiences with the Oregon Symphony, from in-school performances to field trips, master classes, and more. Our affordable programs integrate into your classroom curriculum and inspire students to continue learning and exploring music throughout their lives.

Young People’s Concerts

The concerts performed in three locations are geared toward students grades 3-8. The theme and program are carefully aligned with school learning standards and are supported with learning materials developed as preparation in concert attendance and further opportunities for musical, historic, and social studies exploration.

Link Up Concerts

Link Up National, a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, pairs orchestras across the country and around the world with students in elementary schools (grades 3-5) in their local communities to explore orchestral repertoire through a hands-on music curriculum.

2023/24 Kinderkonzerts in the schools

Give your students a one-of-a-kind musical experience with these captivating educational concerts! Join us as ensembles of Oregon Symphony musicians bring the Symphony off the stage and into schools across the Portland area, with some hilarious help from our narrator Pam Mahon.
